1st Prize - Writing Competition
July 2024
Wokingham Writers' Group
I was very pleased to be awarded the first prize for the Workingham Writers' Group annual writing competition. The entries were judged by the author Alice Fowler. It was challenging to work within a 300 word limit to create a short story titled 'Echoes of the Past'.
Third DCI Logan Story
Late autumn 2024
I'm extremely excited that Nine Elms Books plan to publish my third DCI Logan novel later this year and I'm currently working on the final copyedits with editor David Imrie and look forward to getting the cover design and publication date finalised during August.
Writers' Workshop

I will be running a fun and interactive writing workshop in historic Winchester. It just so happens that my third DCI Logan story is based in and around the city. More to follow.
Bracknell Book Fair
July 2024
The Bracknell Book Fair provided an excellent opportunity to chat with other authors and readers as well as sell a few copies of my books. There were over 25 published and indie authors at the fair which was in its inaugural year.

Thanks to Matthew James Publishing I appeared on Kirsten O'Brien's morning show on BBC Radio Berkshire. It's always a thrill to be interviewed on air; to have the opportunity to talk about the stories and characters I have created.

I am a member of this small friendly group of published and Indie authors who meet on the third Saturday of each month from 10am until midday. We review and discuss each other’s writing in a supportive and constructive way and there are optional homework exercises for those who wish to practice their skills between meetings.
