Rotary Club Talk

10th August

After dinner talk

The Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club has invited me to give an after dinner talk about 'what has sparked my imagination to write and to continue to write'. I'm very much looking forward to the event held at Frederick's Hotel in Maidenhead.

Talk@Shinfield Book Festival

29th Aug at 1.00pm

I have been invited to participate in the Shinfield Book Festival running over the August Bank Holiday weekend. I will be giving an author talk and plan to use our informal interview-style format. The festival is at the Shinfield Parish School Green Centre, School Grn, Shinfield, Reading RG2 9EH. It would be great to see you there.

Bracknell Book Fair 2026

19th September 10 — 4pm

Oaktree Garden Centre

I will have a stand at the Bracknell Book Fair this year and may even be doing a talk as well. There are more than 20 authors confirmed for the event, with readings, panels and talks throughout the day. Entry and parking are free. The address is: Bracknell Road, Brock Hill, Warfield, Bracknell, RG42 6LH. Swing by and say hello.

Back on Marlow FM

22nd September

Between 10 — 12pm (TBC)

I am scheduled to be back on the Good Morning Marlow show with the lovely Kelly Saward. I'm still waiting to hear the exact time I will be on air but you will be able to listen live or on catchup. I will keep you posted.

Thriller Writing Workshop

27th October 10am — 3pm

Carnation Hall, Bracknell

I’ll be running a writing workshop as part of the Binfield, Warfield & Winkfield Arts Week 2026. Whether you have yet to put pen to paper or are already writing your next book, the course will provide practical tips and advice, hopefully fuelling your imagination; providing further inspiration for your writing journey. Discussion will be encouraged and very welcome!

Bracknell Reading Festival

Mid-November

Bracknell Library

This new event in Bracknell will focus on the arts in the local area, on the written word and bringing more residents into the local libraries. I will be participating in the week long festival and more details will be available as the event planning gets firmed up. So watch this space!

Cookham Writers' Group

Monthly (on a Thurs eve)

Cookham Libary

I run a group for less-experienced writers to provide support and constructive feedback on their work. It's an informal and extremely supportive group aimed at instilling confidence in the attendees' writing abilities.

Full of Grace Book Club

Monthly (Tues eve)

Fifield Inn

I run this friendly and informal book club which meets montly on a Tuesday at the Fifield Inn. We discuss the book over a drink and a meal. The books are available to borrow in Maidenhead Library.

Monthly (Sat am)

Wokingham Library

Wokingham Writers' Group

I am a member of this small friendly group of published and Indie authors who meet on the third Saturday of each month from 10am until midday. We review and discuss each other’s writing in a supportive, constructive way. There are optional homework exercises for those who wish to practise their skills between meetings.
